Mingxuan Tan (b.1995, Datong, China) is an artist based in Oslo, Norway. Mingxuan examines personal myth through creating sculptures and installations that emphasize the reciprocal experience between the somatic and the object. These explorations stem from memory, dream, and collective unconscious. Mingxuan had exhibited her work in the U.S., Italy, Canada, Ecuador, and Norway. She Holds an MFA from Oslo National Academy of the Arts and a BFA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
