My exhibition at Epcore Tower become part my research project throughout the semester. I’ve experimented with plaster and how it reacts with unusual colors and materials.
My work is inspired by the seven deadly sins; anger, avarice, envy, gluttony, lust, pride and sloth. Each piece represents an emotion that is found in each of the vices.
I found it interesting that the imperfections found in the seven deadly sins are all part of us, and even our worst blemishes have their place. By accepting our vulnerabilities to our weaknesses and their place within us, we can accept all parts of ourselves.
